Amanda is an administrator and musician originally from Littleton, Colorado. She has worked at numerous nonprofits including the Curtis Institute of Music, Philadelphia Orchestra, Aspen Music Festival and School, and Play on Philly. She is excited to bring her expertise and passion for education to the Byerschool Foundation.

Amanda received her Master of Music in Horn Performance from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

She freelances in the Philadelphia area and can be found as a regular substitute for the Curtis Institute of Music, Pennsylvania Sinfonia, Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Berks Sinfonietta, and Bay Atlantic Symphony.
